The Nuthatches are Back

The Princeton Courtyard Markets feature a variety of local artists, makers, and small businesses from around the region, and this year, they will have themes. The first one is upcoming on Saturday, May 16 and has a theme to celebrate “Spring and Strawberries”.

Beginning several weeks ago, I’ve been hearing the nuthatches outside again, although not as many as last year (probably a reminder to pick up their favorite food). When I first applied for Saturday’s upcoming market, I wondered whether my work was in line with the theme of this event. But, Spring means the return of the birds.

So, I was especially delighted when Brilliant Conventions sent their first promotional image for this Saturday’s market and featured my white-breasted nuthatch painting in the top right corner.
