This boxed set of eight folded note cards features a studio-printed reproduction of my original colored-pencil drawing, 1998 Pansies. This drawing was based on a pansies growing in a pot on my porch in Augusta, Georgia in February 1998. Rich purple blooms, soft lavender highlights, and fresh green foliage fill the composition, capturing the cheerful abundance and delicate character of these familiar garden flowers. I still remember these flowers.
Created in colored pencil, the original drawing emphasizes layered color, texture, and gentle transitions of light, giving the petals a soft quality.
Each card is individually printed in my studio on high-quality 60 lb. matte paper, faithfully reproducing the color and fine detail of the original artwork.
