On an autumn walk in Princeton, New Jersey, I found a cluster of vivid red black gum leaves scattered along the path. Their shapes and colors were so striking that I brought them home and arranged them into this composition prior to capturing them in watercolor — a study in movement, balance, and natural beauty.
One of the things I love most about this piece is its versatility: it can be hung in any direction to create a fresh perspective, allowing you to change with the seasons or your mood.
Each print is produced in my studio using archival inks on premium giclée paper, preserving the luminous color, subtle textures, and fine details of the original watercolor painting.
