Between Leaf and Stone was inspired by the striking contrast between delicate Japanese maple leaves and a bed of smooth, Delaware river stone found in a corner of my New Jersey garden. Captured in natural light, the photograph celebrates the harmony that can be found in everyday gardens when we take a moment to notice and contemplate the balance of shape, texture, and color, the juxtaposition of organic and inorganic.
Each print is produced in my studio using archival inks on premium giclée paper, preserving the color and detail of the original watercolor painting.
