I remember seeing their branches covered in creamy white blossoms throughout Georgia when I was younger, signaling the full spring season. Those memories stayed with me and eventually inspired me to plant a dogwood in my own New Jersey garden, where I look forward to those familiar, classic blossoms each spring.
